~*Busy Bee*~

Well Image hosted by Photobucket.com over the last few days. I was helping a friend of mine create a New Photo Gallery for a Community we are in. He created the gallery and loaded it from his server and I saved 14 folders full of photos to my harddrive. Once he had created the catogory's I was able to login with admin and upload all these photo's. It was a big task but I enjoyed doing it, I got to check out all the photos I hadn't seen.

I have been running my new Forum/Boards which is getting under way really well. I am wanting to add a Counter and a Guest Book to the Welcome page and add some METE tags to help promote the site.

I have also been doing my CSS Course inbetween all this and it's tricky coding. I was finding it easy till I was asked to create a CSS file with all my styles added to it and no HTML tags. Then remove my style tags and styles from my homework page and add a certian link, to see what would happen's. What happened was that even with removing my style tags and styles, and adding a link, my homework page still looked like it did before I removed the style tags etc..if that makes sence.

~*Sum 41 - The Hell Song*~

A song I like at the moment. I watched an Extreme Chairing video with a guy in an Arrow powerchair excatly like mine and he was jumping off curbs at speed, wheeling over two ramps at a time with all wheels in midair, wheeling over wheelbumps at speed, pulling wheelies and more. Saftey gear was worn which was good to see, but heck it's an awesome video clip and looks like a lof of fun. If you would like to watch the video clip, Click Here
This song by Sum 41 was playing and suited it very well.

I can pull wheelies in my chair all the time and do some of those things he has done, but haven't yet driven off ramps at full speed with all 4 wheels in midair!! Dam what an adrenlian rush!!

Sum 41 The Hell Song

Everybody's got their problems
Everybody says the same things to you
It's just a matter how you solve them
And knowing how to change the things you've been through

I feel I've come to realize
How fast life can be compromised
Step back to see what's going on
I can't beleive this happened to you
This happened to you

It's just a problem that I'm faced with am I
Not the only one who hates to stand by
Complications that are first in this line
With all these pictures running through my mind

Knowing endless consequences
I feel so useless in this
Get back
Step back
And as for me, I can't believe

Part of me, won't agree
Cause I don't know if this for sure
Suddenly, suddenly
I don't feel so insecure

Part of me, won't agree
Cause I don't know if this for sure
Suddenly, suddenly
I don't feel so insecure
Anymore

Everybody's got their problems
Everybody says the same things to you
It's just a matter how you solve them
But what else are we supposed to do

Part of me, won't agree
Cause I don't know if this for sure
Suddenly, suddenly
I don't feel so insecure

Part of me, won't agree
Cause I don't know if this for sure
Suddenly, suddenly
I don't feel so insecure
Anymore

Why do things that matter the most
Never end up being our choice
Now that I find no way so bad
I don't think I knew what I had

Why do things that matter the most
Never end up being our choice
Now that I find no way so bad
I don't think I knew what I had

~*Had a Blast*~

Over the last five day's I have been out and about with family, it's been a blast. On Saturday evening my sister Anna and her bf Andy were on there way to the Black Eyed Pea's concert, Mum and Dad were dropping them off. I was watching the News and heard that the 120km winds damaged the Stadium railing and the staidum was unsafe for the concert so they had to move it to town, where they would preform two concerts for 5000 people. I rang Anna and told her that it is now in town, and that there will now be two short concerts. Those with tickets from 1-2500 go to the first concert and those with ticket #2500+ go to the last concert starting at 11pm which was the concert Anna and Andy had to go to.

They came back to my place, picked me up and we went off to the pub for drinks and food. I had a nice shaker too, first one I ever had. Anna and Andy then decided to go to the concert so we went and dropped them off in town, then headed home.

Anna and Andy turned up at my house about 2am after the concert, they said it was worth it and seemed to enjoy it, so that was good. I didn't get much sleep that night and I also had a sratchy sore throat.

Sunday we got up early and headed off to pick up Mum and my brother Ben and we headed off for an hours drive to the Snow Planet. It was an neat place, very wheelchair accessiable too. Mum and I sat in the warm resturant watching Ben, Anna and Andy skiing and snowboarding through the glass window. I got a chance to go right up to the snow area and feel the snow, which I haven't felt since I was 7 years old in England. We then all had some lunch, then came home. I watched the rest of the Bathurst race too. We had a nice BBQ for dinner. I have got some kind of cold, think it's just a headcold.

Monday, Anna, Andy, Mum and I went shopping again and that was fun. I did more window shopping this time. After a long day shopping we headed back home which took about an hours drive as we hit traffic.
Later we meet up with the rest of the family at the Bowling Ally. We had a nice dinner first then went tin pin bowling and that was a lot of fun. I was able to use a special ramp to roll the ball down as I am unable to lift the ball. I got a STRIKE too!! That was awesome and my brother got about 6 strikes hehe he was able to get good speed.

Today, Tuesday I had a good sleep in as I needed it. I just relaxed at home today. Anna and Andy came over for awhile and say bye as they leave tomorow morning.

~*Bathurst 1000 V8 Raceing - Winner*~

WOW what a race it was at Bathurst. In the first three hours the Saftey car had come out 5-6 times due to accidents. Near the end Greg Murphy had to at some point come into pits to top up on fuel which would make him loose a few seconds from where he was placed, which might cause him not to be able to catch up. The saftey car had to come out once more, so Greg Murphy took this chance to pit for fuel.

Race was back on for the last few laps, when suddenly there was a big pile up on the Mountion inluding Marcos Ambrose and Greg Murphy and some other cars. This ended Marcos Ambrose race and also ended Greg Murphys who was able to carry on but came over the line in 17th place by memory. On the crash scene Marcos Ambrose and Greg Murphy got down into a yelling match face to face, helmets off etc.

The officals say it wasn't either of there fault, but I don't know, someone has to take the blame really. From what I read in the paper was, that Greg Murphy says that he thinks Marcose Ambrose purposley slammed on his brakes and Greg Murphy nicked the side of his car creating it to flip around into the wall. From the News and the picture car map in the Herald it was showing that Ambrose was wide on the turn, Murphy was attempting to pass on the inside when Ambrose cut him short and came in on Murphy creating Murphy to nick the back of Ambrose car.

Marcos Ambrose was already in an angrey state before this crash due to his co-driver not wearing his 'Saftey' balaclava and had to come into the pits for a stop start. Yet Marcos Ambrose was asked to come into pit lane too later on if he wasn't wearing a balaclava, if he was then he can continue racing. In came Ambros to get his balaclava put on!! To me these driver's should know to wear these, they are 'Saftey Gear' and are to be worn!! So having this crash just added a cherry to the top of his anger.

The winner of Bathurst 1000 2005 was Mark Scaife & Todd Kelly in there HOLDEN Racing Team car, yea!! Holden did it again. Mark Scaife took his 5th win at Bathurst too. It was also Todd Kelly's Birthday too. Second place was Jason Richards (a NZer!!) & Jamie Whincup in the Dodo Racing Team and in third place came Steve Ellery in a Ford, his team mate Greg Lowndes crashed out.

~*My Sister is visiting*~

My sister Anna is visiting family for a week so we going to be busy. Anna and her bf Andy arrived around 8am so we had a full day out and about really. Mum and Dad picked them up from the airport then came and got me, then we went out for a Brunch which was yummy!! Wanna here what I had hehe, well let's see.. I had bacon, eggs, sausages with cheese in them, tomatomushrroms and some toast.

The weather was really crappy, it was cold, windy and the rain was very heavy and came down whenever it felt like it. After brunch we all went up to a Look Out and had a wonder, I stayed in the van. We then went back to Mum and Dad's place and mucked around there and talked. After dinner I came back home.

Yesterday Mum, Anna and I went shopping all day, it was fun. We helped Anna get some nice Summer work clothes along with having some food. We then went to another mall and did some more shopping. I got my nails done with an Overlay, make my nails grow stronger and look nice. Mum got her feet done, townails painted and foot masage. Later we meet up with the rest of the family at a resturant and had Dinner. I had Roast Pork and it was nice. Some then came back to my place and we had some drinkies and watched a dvd about cars etc

~*My Weekend*~

I went out shopping and lunch with Mum and Dad on Saturday. We arrived at the shopping area and decided to have a coffee and something to eat as I hadn't had breakfast. I had a Moccia and shared a toastie with Mum. Mum needed a new cell phone and Vodafhone had a Trade in where you get $100 off the new phone. I helped Mum decide and in the end she picked the Nokia 6020 and it is a pretty good phone for the deal she got. I bought a watch as my other watch had died on me. I was told that the new battrey didn't work and there was a lot of soapy stuff in the watch which had damaged it. I will not spend a lot of money on a watch anymore!! It''s not worth it if I'm buying a new watch every 3-4 years.

We had a late lunch and it was nice. I had two entres, chicken satay and 4 spring rolls and a nice cold beer:) Mum and Dad both had Fish n Chips, both were slightly different. Did some more shopping then I did a food shop, then we came home.

Also that morning we heard the Final Result of the Election Results from the Special Vote's and LABOUR won by 2 Seats!! Dam that was close, but a good result. It's also Daylight Saving so we had to put our clocks forward an hour before bed.

Today I did nothing at all, and it was a very wet crappy day.

~*My Week*~

Hey to those visiting my blog *waves to you all*. I had a good week, meet up with some friends at the mall for lunch, got my hair coloured again and went to the movies with a friend who had two free movie vouchers which he had to use by the end of September. We went and saw 'Into the Blue' and it was really neat, a well worth movie to see, infact I wouldn't mind seeing it again *Paul Walker is HOT!!* calm down Jenn LOL

"Into the Blue" is a high-stakes thriller set in the deep, shark-infested waters of the Bahamas. When young divers discover the wreckage of a cargo plane at the bottom of the sea, they believe their dream of buried treasure has come true. What they don't realise is that millions of dollars of illegal goods are in that sunken plane and a group of dangerous criminals are already desperately searching for it. As tensions mount and the friends begin to fight about what to do with their find, others get closer to discovering their secret - and the treasure hunters quickly become the hunted.

I now remember he was in 'The Fast and the Furious' looking hot too

~*Communication in General*~

I've been wanting to blog about Communication in General for awhile now, and today seem's like the right day for it During my study year's of doing Foundation Studies in Health Care and Foundation & Community Skills Course, I have done three comuncation course's.

Communcation is the correct way to have a conversation between two or more people, it doesn't work alone. For communcation to really work, the person listening need's to listen and hear what the person is saying. The person talking then has there turn to listen and hear what the other person is saying, as this communcation between the two people is really working well. Also each person needs to read each other's body-language or emotions if using text. The reason I have made listen, hear, body-language and emotions BOLD is because they are the three key elements to good communcation. If you only do one of these, then communcation breaks down, meaning that the person listening will not actually hear what the person is really meaning.

When a person is listening to you and not hearing you, then they are starting to assume this is what they heard. By listening and hearing well, or by reading text (same as listening) and hearing what they say/type is real communcation.

There are losts of ways of communicating, but they all still have the three main key elements. Other communications are by e-mail, fave to face, groups, internet chats in groups or with two people, sign language and many more ways.

Everyone isn't perfect and no one communcates perfectly, it's nice to make sure that Communcation is near perfect to get a good outcome.

~*This is Me as a Cute Animal*~

aww I am a Kitten, how cute is that :)

You Are A: Kitten!

kitty catCute as can be, kittens are playful, mischevious, and ever-curious. Like you, kittens hate getting wet. Kittens are often loving, but are known to scratch or bite when annoyed. These adorable animals are the most popular pets in the United States--37% of American households have at least one cat. Whether it is your gentle purr or your disarming appearance, you make a wonderful kitten.

You were almost a: Duckling or a Puppy
You are least like a: Frog or a Duck

~*WOW I am Back*~

wow talk about tblog being down a lot, gosh everytime I tried to add a blog, tblog would be down or was too slow and playing up. About time it is up again.

I completed my Frames course and did my exam. The Exam has 10 questions, 9 of them for me to write my answers and the 10th question was to create my own frame page!! So I emailed my 9 answers in with a note saying working on question 10 lol. To me I thought it was silly having them ask me to do a frame page on the last question as it would take a bit of time and more browser pages to open. (the exam was open in a browser page which I copied to word too) It took me 2 days to do my frame page, it was hard for me but I completed it. From my Tutor: The Frames Exam was perfect - A job well done and a definite 100% on the Exam. I am so proud of myself!!

Today I have created my index page (welcome) for my Forum so I am almost set to open it up and invite all those people that will benefit from the forum.

I also created this graphic today :)

My powerchair is still at Invacare, the tech could not pin point the problem so he was unable to fix anything. Invacare have contacted Invacare US and asked if they know what the problem could be and if they don't, should they replace the wheelbase frame or the seatframe or replace the whole chair! The creaking noise is in a moving part and to me that could be in both the frame and seatframe so I reakon replace the whole chair. So we are waiting to hear back from Invacare US.

~*New Zealand - General Election*~

I am watching the General Election here in New Zealand and it's very tight between National and Labour. National was in the lead but now Labour has taken the lead by 1%. There have been less votes this year so the election tally will arrive quicker tonight. The Special votes will be the important count as thay could change the winner tonight or maybe give the winner a few more votes in total, but won't know the special votes for a week or two I think.

I meet Helen Clark from Labour yesterday and shook her hand. Helen asked me, are you able to go and vote tomorow and I said, yep I'm voting for you. I meet Judith Tizard too.

NEWS FLASH - Just heard a News Flash on TV, of a light plane - pilot was threatening to crash the plane into the Auckland SkyTower tonight, in the end he crashed into the sea. The pilot is now in Auckland hospital. SkyTower was quickly evacuated and everyone is safe.

Back to watching the Election.

~*Busy Bee*~

I am so tired, but have enough energy to do a quick update since last time I blogged. Yesterday I was out all day, first Dad took me to Invacare so the tech could look at my wheelchair to see where this creaking noise is coming from, that I am hearing everytime I move and it's very irrating and annoying. We ended up leaving my new wheelchair there as it will take longer than I thought to fix, but lucky I had my old chair with me and got in that. Dad and I then went and had an early lunch and I had Subway. Dad went back to work and I shopped around the mall, then later went to see a movie called Red Eye which was totally awesome!!

at the moment with my Forum. I've set up a different one now hehe with the help of a friend who talked me through the setup step by step. I've learned so much about the different forums out there and how to set them up and using an ftp program which I've used before. I now have to design my index page, that's a welcome page which will have a link to the forum and other pages soon one day lol.

I have also recieved my Frames lesson 1, so I got to start working on that, but not today. Don't feel up to it.

I have been quite involved in the Lost Plot and the Tomb in my neopets game online. I have a Tablet which is like a puzzle and I have to play games to get my map, then go to the Tomb and find my door to go through to collect my tablet peice and so on till my tablet is full.

Here is another graphic I created

~*Kinda Busy*~

Haven't done much over the last few days. One thng I did do, was treated myself to getting my nails shaped and painted and they look good. Yesterday I was sorting out all my psp tubes and orgainsing my Graphic's folders as they were a mess! Looks better and more tidy now and easy for me to find graphic's. I am also going to upload everything to photobucket then backup tubes and graphic's onto cds. This may take me awhile but is the best thing to do.

Here is a graphic I just made, I really like the tube too

I have also been playing neopets on and off and checking up on my Aquapet Zizzy bought me. Well I am off now to eat some pizza, chicken wings, chip and have a pepsi too. Movie should be starting soon too.
